SolarSpan’s low heat Ultraslim 9W LED downlight has been custom designed for Bondor insulated roof products and outdoor use in patios and pergola applications. 
Our 9W LED Downlight provides an energy efficient lighting solution with up to 50,000 hours of operational use and covered by a 3 year manufacturer’s return to base warranty. 
We suggest 1 every 3rd panel
These lights are a low temperature light (42 degrees). This is the most important point as the running temperature of some other LED lights exceed the maximum safe temperature (65 plus degrees) for this type of roof.
The lights come as a kit, which includes a driver and extension leads to make it easy to fit in the roof as you are building, but also helps to install the driver at a serviceable point.
They are dimmable
The light given off is a 120 degree throw, basically a flood light style rather than a spot light
Most importantly you will find you won’t need much light to be effective under this roof, the ceiling side is a semi gloss finish and really does reflect the light very well, as opposed to a gyprock ceiling which tends to absorb light.
