AquaPlus® Coated Steel Underside & TopSide

AquaPlus® Coated Steel is a highly durable product suitable for more corrosive environments, in particular coastal and chemically corrosive areas. (THIS PRODUCT IS ADDITION TO PANEL)
 
It is a Hot-dipped Zinc, Aluminium & Magnesium alloy coated substrate with a metallic coating mass of 275gms/m2. 
AquaPlus® Steel as a whole painted product is made to the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2728 
The AquaPlus® paint system is formulated and proven to perform in harsh Australian environments.

Technical 
AquaPlus® Steel

Conforms to AS/NZS2728:2013 
Suitable for ISO9223:2012 
Atmospheric Classic ations C1 - C4 
 
Substrate 
Hot-dipped zinc/aluminum/magnesium alloy coated steel coil, 275gms/m2 coating weight. 
 
Pre-treatment 
Corrosion resistant chromate conversion coating. 
 
Primer 
Flexible corrosion resistant chromatid primer. 
Nominal lm thickness 7μ ± 1μ on the top side and 5μ ± 1μ on the reverse. 
 
Finish Coat 
Flexible exterior acrylic, polyester or modified polyester coating. 
Nominal film thickness 18μ ± 2μ. 
 
Backing Coat 
Shadow grey (standard colour) wash coat, 5μ ± 1μ nominal thickness. 
 
Gloss 
Typical gloss levels are 25 ± 5% measured in accordance with ASTM D523-14 (60 degrees). 
STANDAR COLOUR – OFF WHITE 
 
Notes 
*“Pool” means an enclosed structure around either a chemical or saltwater pool, that prevents natural air low or ventilation as opposed to a pool-side pergola structure with no walls.
